Menu has a manufacturing platform with three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Emporia, Kansas (430,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse space owned, 155,000 square feet of office and warehouse space owned which is currently listed for sale), Pennsauken, New Jersey (210,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse space owned, 206,000 square feet of office and warehouse space owned) and Streetsville, Ontario (134,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse space owned, 72,000 square feet of warehouse space leased – expires May, 2010). These plants utilize high-speed equipment and leading-edge technologies to produce pet food in aluminum and steel cans in all currently used sizes at rates of up to 1,000 cans per minute. With the pouch expansion completed in the second quarter of 2005, Menu is able to produce 85g pouches at the rate of up to 750 pouches per minute. With the introduction of plastic cup technology in the fourth quarter of 2008, Menu is able to produce 100g cups at the rate of up to 120 cups per minute. These facilities are designed for maximum flexibility, which, in turn, allows Menu to provide the full range of products its customers’ demand.
